Art-Centric Resolutions

We are starting off the new year right at Design Works International, by connecting with the artists and sales team to hone in on what is inspiring them!

Niki

“When I look at this year's Pantone color of the year, Very Peri, I think of technology and innovation. We're advancing into a whole new digital age that can really push the way we think creatively. I see Very Peri as embodying the sense of optimism and intrigue that can come from these new possibilities.”

Nancy

“I am feeling a resurgence of creativity on all design fronts as we move from a place of solitude to a place of rebirth.  The design industry is now pushing creative boundaries with technology as its partner as we look to NFT’s [Non-Fungible Tokens] used to represent real-world items like artwork. It's an exciting time to be open to what technology and art have in store for us in the coming year.”

Michelle

“I'm looking to get back to color basics in 2022. I've always loved the compliments of primary and secondary colors as they provide visually pleasing color combinations. I look forward to exploring and surrounding myself with these colors this year.”

Lizzie

“One of the things I love most about design is watching it evolve and change. When I see a creator take a familiar element and use it in a way I haven't seen before it really gets my heart racing!”

Kat

“Whether it’s bright or subtle, purple always manages to make all the elements within a painting or garden stand out! Yet, the color shines quietly in its own way as well. It’s different, original and leaves an impression on the mind.”
