Sustainable Soirée
The countdown is on for Fall High Point Market 2021!
High Point Market is just a few days away and I am excited to announce that I will be spotlighting sustainability while I am there. Sustainability Stories take Center Stage with inspiring, experiential exhibitions and eco-seminars that emphasize the urgency of—and opportunities in—embracing earth-friendly practices.
Two other designers, Laurence Carr and Jennifer Levy, along with myself, have each curated elegant, environmentally positive vignettes that incorporate sustainable items sourced from Market exhibitors. My space is called “Sustainability Soirée” and is filled with beautiful products from manufacturers like The Phillips Collection, Currey & Co, and Kenneth Cobonpue just to name a few.
There will also be multiple eco-focused seminars and panels to join at Market. You can find a full list here.

Eco-Friendly Manufacturing

Join Nancy Fire as she dives into the world of sustainability in manufacturing with Brian Brigham of Kaleen Rugs, Jason Phillips of The Phillips Collection, and Erin Weston of Weston Farms. Featuring behind-the-scenes updates from these manufacturers who have a vested interest in creating products in sustainable environments. This panel will share their sustainable stories regarding factory updates and sourcing sustainable wood, fibers, and other materials that are either reclaimed, biodegradable, or eco-friendly.
WithIt Presents: Women Leaders in Design

The story of women in design is one of triumph over adversity. Despite educational and professional obstacles, women became leaders of architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, and product design. This panel introduces five future icons in design, Jane Dagmi, Kelli Ellis, Nancy Fire, Stacy Garcia, and Victoria Sanchez. Gary Inman will join as moderator.
